This level of testing will ensure that the fire systems have been commissioned to meet section 10 of AS2419 (only).
This option includes:
Pre-inspection of site

Test results forwarded to Fire Service DFES
This testing is provided to identify the existing street/on-site fire hydrant capacity, in maintaining a residual flow & pressure of not less than 200kPa whilst flowing at 5 litres per second intervals. This service includes:
Written report outlining test findings
Test finding in both graph and table format
Photo evidence identifying the fire hydrants test points and results
Tagging of on-site fire hydrants
Necessary comments & recommendations (if required)
The following testing is required to commission a fire hose reel system within buildings that have a floor area or building size more than 500m². This service includes:
Inspection & Flow testing of fire hose reel/s
Written Report outlining inspection & test findings/results
This level of testing will ensure that existing fire hydrant systems continue to meet the requirements of AS2419-2005 and AS1851-2012. This service includes:
Determination of original building design flow and pressure (dependant on building size, occupancy type and Alternative Solution requirements (if applicable)
Pre-inspection of site and installed system
Booster testing – in accordance with section 10 of AS2419 and AS1851-2012
Issue of test results and boost pressure calculation
Further advice on compliance issues if necessary
This testing is undertaken to meet the requirements of AS1851-2012. This service includes:
Flow and pressure testing of up to two street or on-site fire hydrant outlets (dependent on original building design requirement) at 5L/sec increments.
Written report outlining test findings
Test finding in both graph and table format
Photo evidence identifying the fire hydrants test points and results
Tagging of on-site fire hydrants
Necessary comments & recommendations (if required)
